Thought I'd turn my hand to a few portraits and although some of my smaller ones haven't been posted on here, this one is a particularly large portr5ait of my parents in law, Jane and Neil.

Main base shapes block in and now starting to work on the details and shadowing.

So, continuing on my Big Cats I managed to get a good shot of a female leopard from a wildlife clip which created a good enough composition for my next painting, so here she is in her early stages...

It's been a while since I've posted anything on here so it's time for a good catch up.

I've been endlessly busy with work so I've had little time to do much painting wise, however always up for a challenge I thought I'd tackle an idea I had for a medium'ish size painting of a White Tiger enjoying a warm patch of sunlight.

Due to work, I've only been able to spend a few hours here and there on the painting so it's taking some considerable time to complete, mainly due to the size and the level of detail I decided I wanted to achieve with the fur.

So, here he is:

Still a fair way to go on this but with just his neck fur and side to do, I should have him complete in the next week or two. :)
